So, it is like early morning and of course I am the only ne awake. Go figure! The boys are doing good. Colton is grounded and learning that I am no longer easy! HE finds any reason to get out of his room. He even went as far as to tell Jason that we could just send him to military school. Because then he wouldn't be grounded! LOL AT school they are learning to play the recorder. OKay, is this really considered an instrurment? Because no matter how good you are, it is the most horrible sound in the world. Colton is actually really good at it and sometimes it sounds pretty good. But, I guess not being able to do anything but practice will do that. Jayden is just being Jayden. Learning that he can not be ugly to his brother and that he is not going to play the playstation 24 hours a day. That is fun let me tell you. He throws fits that I think rivaled mine when I was little. We are just trying to get the house completly organized before I go to work. Its a blast. Everyone needs to remeber that I have a pack rat for a husband. LOL Well, this is just an up date.Hope everyone is well. Love Dawna

New Job!

So, I had an interview and a PT test today for Akal Security. I had to do 9 men push-ups, 20 sit-ups, and run a mile in 12 minutes! I am a smoker whose idea of working out is mowing the yard. I was told one day in advance. Let me tell you, running a mile in 12 minutes is the hardest thing that I have ever done. I had three great people there running with me and encouraging me to do it. And I did! I have training that starts on the 24ht and will now work what my husband always hated doing. Gate Guard!!!!!!! I just say for the money that I am making, I can suck it up and deal. I am so excited and could of never done it without my friends. They have reminded me that there are people out there who will be there for you no matter. what. They are a part of our family. Jose and Christina were running next to me telling me I could do it when I wanted to give up. Naomi was on the sidelines do to an injury yelling me on. I could here her all the way across the track. SO, I now have a great job and great friends and life is finally looking up.

So, I figured this was another easy way to keep in touch with everyone and keep everyone up to date on my family. Jason had surgery on August 28th. He is doing wonderfully. I have bee hired at Wal-Mart as a midnight stocker. I will start on the 11th. Trying to get prepared for that. Colton is doing exceptionally well in school this year. He is growing up so fast. He is at the stage that he is trying to figure out who he is and what to wear to be cool. It is no longer cool for him to give mom goodbye kisses everyday that I drop him off at school, but he still does it to please me. He also can't get away without opening the back door of the van and giving bubba kisses and hugs too. He has the typical attitude that I have learned that every boy his age gets. (I just thought it was mine) He misses his family more than I ever realized. Nanny and Papa and Aunt B and Kenneth and Jovi are so much a part of who he is. (It amazes me) He is wanting to be a good faithfull Christian, but is figuring out that in our world it is kinda hard to do. He wear his faith bracelet he got this summer at church camp with Aunt B faithfully. He said when he has a bad day, he will look at it and hope that it gives him the answers he needs. He wants so bad to have something to hold onto. I am more proud of him everyday. One day he will hopefully realize I am not a horrble person set out to make his life hard. Just a mom who loves him more than life itself and that I want him to be a better person than I could of ever been. Jayden is so much a mixture of Jason and I. The good and the bad. He is a challenge everyday. He thinks his sole purpose is to get up everyday to play video games. So, we are trying to fix that problem which just turns into him throwing fits. I told him the other day no more playstaion. He had to go to his room and play. I walk in later and he had grabbed his game boy and was playing it. He looked up when he heard me and he sai, " Mom, you said no playstaion, not no game boy". So, he is way to smart for his own age. LOL!!! I am doing good. Just missing my family terribly. Hate change and learnign it is inevitable. Go figure. I will attempt to write a little something everyday. Please keep us in your prayers and hope that one day we find the faith to keep us strong. Love to all.
